New "epic" Honor smartphone will be announced at CES 2017
Honor USA today revealed that a brand new "epic" Honor smartphone will be officially announced at CES 2017 on January 3. There aren't too many details about the upcoming handset, but the teaser image that we can see below strongly suggests that the device features a dual camera - similar to the Honor 8 released this summer. Also, there's no doubt that this phone will be sold in the US.
Earlier his month, Honor launched a very interesting smartphone in China - the Honor Magic (seen in the slideshow below), which sports a dual-curve display and also has a dual rear camera. While we can speculate that the Magic, or a similar device, is coming to the US, we must note that there's absolutely no info suggesting that this will happen. But this would be pretty cool, right?
At the moment, Honor is officially selling only two smartphones in the US: the Honor 5X and the aforementioned Honor 8. Both are affordable unlocked handsets, and we're assuming that this is also going to be the case with the third Honor phone that's coming to the US. We could also assume (and hope) that the new handset will run Android 7 Nougat out of the box.
