Netflix update to its Android app adds recommendations, Android Wear support
Android users watching a television show or movie using Netflix, can now recommend said show or flick to their friends, following an update to the Android powered Netflix app. Clicking on the new Recommend button allows you to suggest certain Netflix content to your family or friends on Facebook. This makes it a lot easier to let them know which television shows and movies you think that they would enjoy viewing.
The update also has a little something for those sporting a smartwatch powered by Android Wear. With the update, Android Wear powered timepieces will be able to pass along notifications when you receive a recommendation about a show. You can send your thanks, receive more details about the show, and open it on your synced Android Phone or tablet.
So far, we've seen the Recommend button go live on the Netflix app. It might be a little time before the Android Wear integration makes its appearance.
