Netflix mobile previews showing up for some Android users
Netflix introduced mobile previews for iOS users last month and promised to bring the same feature to Android users as well. As the name of the feature suggests, mobile previews are short trailers designed to offer users a peek at a show they are interested to watch.
According to Netflix, these previews are just 30-seconds long should load very quickly. Also, they are personalized to each user's specific tastes. Well, starting today, Netflix started to roll out these mobile previews to Android users.
Although it doesn't look like this is a global rollout yet, it's a sign that Netflix is preparing for a wider deployment. If you see these mobile previews on your Android device, you'll notice that they'll go gray once you watch them.
Just so you know, it appears that your Netflix version must be 6.2 build 27527 in order to be able to take advantage of these mobile previews. Otherwise, you'll just have to wait for Netflix to make the feature available to more people.
