NVIDIA Shield TV update brings Xbox Elite Controller support, more
NVIDIA continues to update its Android setup box, the Shield TV, with new features and improvements. The latest update isn't a major one, but it does bring some interesting new functions that will further enhance user experience.
The most important change NVIDIA included in the update is support for Xbox Elite Controller, which is nice if you bought one. But that's not all that this month's NVIDIA Shield TV update 7.2.3 has in store for us.
A new option that will allow you to restart Wi-Fi service if wireless APs aren't visible is now available in the Settings / Network / Restart Wi-Fi. Also, NVIDIA mentions that the update should improve customizability for HDMI-CEC Power controls.
Last but not least, many of the apps that you can install on the NVIDIA Shield TV have been updated with new features and improvements, including KODI, NHL, Smithsonian and Philo TV.
