Motorola will livestream its July 28 event: new Moto X and Moto G incoming
Last week, Motorola unveiled that it would host an event on July 28, suggesting that it's going to announce new Moto X and Moto G smartphones on that day. The event will take place simultaneously in three major cities across the globe: New York City, Sao Paulo (Brazil), and London (UK).
Motorola fans should be happy to find out that the event will be livestreamed starting 9 AM Eastern Time. Thus, everyone will be able to see how Motorola will (most likely) officially announce the Moto X (2015) and Moto G (2015), and possibly also a new Moto Droid.
Both the third-gen Moto X and third-gen Moto G will unsurprisingly bring improvements over the Moto X (2014) and Moto G (2014). For example, the new Moto X is expected to feature a Quad HD (1440 x 2560 pixels) display, an octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor, and a front-facing camera with flash. The new Moto G should come with a water-resistant body, LTE, a 13 MP rear camera, and a 5 MP front-facing camera. Moreover, the third-gen Moto G will be compatible with MotoMaker. Leaked images showing both new upcoming handsets can be seen below.
