Like it did on a number of its models, Motorola decided to skip the Android 5.0 update on the DROID Turbo and go straight to Android 5.1. But a multitude of unhappy DROID Turbo owners have been peppering Motorola on its Instagram page every day, inquiring about the update.
Now that the end is in sight for owners of the highly spec'd handset, the next thing they have to wonder about is whether the DROID Turbo will be getting updated to Android M, and when this might happen. Smartphone owners, especially those who own a model devised for power users, are notoriously hard to please. Once Android 5.1 arrives on the Turbo, they might take all of five minutes to enjoy it before seeking out the next update.
