Motorola Sage expected to become AT&T's next Android handset from Moto?
For a while there, AT&T customers were beginning to wonder if they'll ever see the light of day outside of their Android offering with the Motorola BACKFLIP. Sure it's notable even despite the kind of reputation it has managed to amass during its release, but Motorola was happy to bring Android into AT&T's lineup. However, it looks like there is already something in the works as an FCC filing sheds light on something going by the codename of the Sage. Hopefully it can produce some magical wonders seeing that it features 7.2Mbps HSDPA and 2Mbp HSUPA on the 850/1900 MHz bands, quad-band EDGE connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, aGPS, and a digital compass. Even though it's possible to see AT&T snatch this one, there's no indication to what kind of form factor it'll embody, but then again, you never know the kind of magic they can unleash to make it appealing. Ultimately, we'll just have to wait and see what kind of spell the Sage has in store for all of us.
