Motorola One Power to get Android Pie by the end of 2018
Despite the fact that One Power is the newest smartphone launched by Motorola, the device doesn't ship with Android 9.0 Pie on board. However, this minor issue will be addressed by the end of the year, as the company confirmed it will provide Motorola One Power users with an Android Pie update very soon.
During the phone's launch in India, Motorola's Product Manager Abhishek Kumar confirmed his company will start opening soak test registrations for the Android 9.0 Pie update by mid-October, which means that by the end of the next month the first soak test should commence.
Although it's unclear how long it will take Motorola to test the update for the One Power, there's a high chance that Android 9.0 Pie will be ready by the end of 2018. There was no mention of the Motorola One, but we believe it will “suffer” the same fate and Android Pie will be delivered around the same time.

Both phones are expected to receive security patch updates for about three years from now, but another major Android OS is likely to be available for the Motorola One Power as well.
