New Motorola Moto Z3 Play images show some of the phone's compatible Moto Mods
Not long after seeing the unannounced Motorola Moto Z3 Play alongside a 5G Moto Mod, we can now take a look at new images showing the phone paired with a few other Mods.
As you'll notice below, the first Moto Z3 Play Mod appears to be the Stereo Speaker Mod that Motorola is currently selling for $59. The second one is obviously a Projector (priced at $199 right now), while the third seems to be a Battery Mod (we can't spot this one in Motorola's current Moto Mod lineup, so it must be an upcoming model).
These new images further reaffirm what we previously heard about the Moto Z3 Play - the handset sports a display with pretty thin bezels and has a fingerprint scanner embedded on its right side. The display should be a 6-inch, 1080 x 2160 pixels one.
Other recently leaked renders showed a dual camera on the back of the Moto Z3 Play, not unlike the dual rear camera of the Moto G6 (launched this month in the US). Since it succeeds the Moto Z2 Play, the Z3 Play is expected to be a mid-range smartphone with specs like a Snapdragon 636 processor, 4 GB of RAM, and 32 GB or 64 GB of storage space.
The Moto Z3 Play (and any other higher end Moto Z3 model that Motorola may be working on) should be officially announced in early June. Stay tuned.
