Motorola starts rolling out Moto Z3 Play Android 9 Pie in the U.S.
Motorola's mid-range Android smartphone, the Moto Z3 Play made its debut in the United States back in June. Currently, the phone sells for $500 outright, but Motorola bundles the phone with a moto power back or a moto smart speaker with Amazon Alexa, each with a value of $50.
Now, if you've already purchased a Moto Z3 Play, you'll be happy to know that Motorola is now rolling out the long-awaited Android 9 Pie update in the United States. The phone's support page has just been updated with all the new changes the Android 9 Pie update brings, so make sure to check it out for the full list of new features and improvements.
The United States seems to be the first country where Motorola chose to release the Motorola Z3 Play update, but we have no doubt that other regions will follow soon. Keep in mind that before you install Android 9 Pie on your Moto Z3 Play, you should make sure that your phone's battery is at least 50% charged and you are connected to a Wi-Fi network.
Also, if you have received a notification message for this update, you'll only have to select “Download and install,” otherwise, you should head to Settings / System / System updates and hope that the update will show up on your device.
