Motorola Moto X Style recives Android 6.0 update in India and Brazil
Motorola has started pushing out the Android 6.0 update to Motorola Moto X Style users in India and Brazil. In the latter country, the second-generation Motorola Moto X is also receiving the update. Among the new features found in the update is the Doze mode, which senses when your phone is idle and shuts down background apps taking your phone into a "deep sleep state." The result is an increase in standby time, increasing the battery life of your handset.
App Standby also lengthens your battery life by putting seldom used apps into a special state. You can select which apps are placed into Standby. A big change can be found in the implementation of app permissions. Instead of an app asking for all of the necessary permissions in one bundle, the permission required to use a certain feature of an app will be requested only at the time that the specific feature is about to be used.
Since the update is being sent out OTA, you might not get it immediately. Be patient and it eventually will hit your phone. When the notification arrives, make sure that you are connected to a Wi-Fi network, and that your battery is charged to at least 50%/

In addition, the microSD slot on your phone can be used to expand internal storage rather than just being used to store media content. With Android 6.0, a new intuitive way to raise the alarm, ringtone and media volume is offered, and with the update, Google Now on Tap provides contextual search replies based on what you are viewing on the screen. You can check out the complete changelist by clicking on the sourcelink.
