Leaked Moto G7 Plus render reveals close resemblance to regular model
Just over 24 hours after a press render of the Motorola Moto G7 leaked out online, a new image of the slightly larger, and presumably more powerful, Moto G7 Plus has been published.
Much like the Moto G6 and G6 Plus, the biggest external difference between the Moto G7 and G7 Plus is size – the regular device is set to sport a 6-inch display, while the larger model may opt for a 6.4-inch panel. But aside from this, it looks as though the two smartphones will be almost identical thanks to the same waterdrop notch up front and circular camera module over on the rear.
In addition to the larger dimensions, the Plus variant of Motorola’s Moto G line also tends to be quite a bit more powerful. According to the most recent information, the regular Moto G7 will arrive with the Snapdragon 660 paired with both 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. This would mean that, in order to be more powerful, the Moto G7 Plus would need to ship with the Snapdragon 710.

Due to the Moto G’s mid-range positioning, a Snapdragon 710-powered G7 Plus does seem pretty unlikely. Instead, it’s possible that the specs previously associated with the regular Moto G7 actually correspond with the Moto G7 Plus. For now, though, this will remain to be seen.
The Moto G7 Plus is expected to go official in early 2019 alongside the regular model, the Moto G7 Play, and the Moto G7 Power. While still unconfirmed, the announcement will likely take place at MWC 2019 in late February.
