Motorola Moto 360 Sport now available from the Google Store
Looking for an Android Wear powered smartwatch? You can now pick up the Motorola Moto 360 Sport directly from the Google Store for $299.99. The sportier looking version of the Moto 360 (which still has that 'Flat tire' design) is available from Google in black only, while Motorola sells it for the same price in black, orange and white. Shipping is free.
To help track your workouts, including distance traveled and speed, the timepiece includes a built-in GPS. And the optical heart rate monitor will measure your pulse to make sure that you're not overdoing the exercises. The Moto 360 Sport includes an ‘AnyLight’ hybrid display that makes the screen visible in direct sunlight. And with the Sport version of the watch, the wearable can be immersed in up to 3-feet of water for as long as 30-minutes and emerge unscathed.

The Moto 360 Sport features a Gorilla Glass 3 protected 1.73-inch screen with a 360 x 325 resolution. That works out to a pixel density of 263ppi. 512MB of RAM is inside with 4GB of internal storage, and the Snapdragon 400 SoC is under the hood. The latter caries a quad-core 1.2GHz CPU along with the Adreno 305 GPU. A 300mAh battery keeps the lights on.
