Motorola DROID SHADOW found in Gym?
It seems that a cellphone store is the last place to go to if you're looking to get your hands on an unreleased model. For example, Apple engineer Grey Powell accidentally left his next-gen iPhone prototype at a bar on the West Coast and the finder reportedly sold it to Gawker Media for $8,500. The most recent story involves the unannounced Motorola DROID SHADOW and a corporate Verizon gym in Washington. An employee at the gym discovered the handset and said that before all of the data was remotely wiped, a text message on the device referred to it as being "unreleased". The gym employee also had a chat with the person who picked up the phone who confirmed that the found unit had 16GB of storage, a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, featured an 8MP camera and has the capability of shooting high-def video in 720p. The display was 4.3 inches and the phone should be powered by the Froyo Android 2.2 build when launched in June/July. Now if we can figure out where someone will misplace the Google Android Tablet...
