Motorola DROID RAZR in Verizon stores at 11:11 am 11/11
Does someone at Verizon believe in numerology? A leaked internal memo meant for the eyes of Verizon reps shows that the Motorola DROID RAZR will be in stores and ready to go home with buyers at 11:11am on 11/11. We spoke with a Verizon representative who has confirmed the memo. The leaked document also exhorts reps to talk to their customers about the launch, advice that was seemingly ignored when we happened to visit a Verizon location on Wednesday.
Thursday is the last day that you can pre-order the phone from Verizon and have it shipped by November 10th. The Motorola DROID RAZR is equipped with a 4.3 inch qHD Super AMOLED display with 1GB of RAM aboard. Just 7.1mm thick at its thinnest point, the phone has a dual-core 1.2GHz TI OMAP 4430 processor under the hood and an 8MP camera on back that captures video at 1080p. A front-facing camera you ask? Of course! It's 1.3MP and with the Video Chat feature of Google Talk on the phone out of the box, it can be put to good use. And Android 2.3.5 is pre-installed on the phone. The Motorola DROID RAZR is priced at $299.99 with a signed two-year pact.
