Motorola DROID 4 is believed to launch on February 9th - just in time for Valentine's Day
Back at CES, we managed to spend a great deal of time with the Motorola DROID 4, and even though a lot of information regarding it was made known at the time, we were still in the dark in terms of an actual launch date.
Previously, it was believed that the handset would’ve been launched back in December, to naturally take advantage of the holiday rush, but it would’ve easily saturated Big Red’s lineup considering they had quality devices like the Motorola DROID RAZR, HTC Rezound, and Samsung Galaxy Nexus at the time. Well, according to the latest rumor out of Droid-Life, their source mentions a launch date of February 9th for the latest member in the beloved DROID family.
And of course, it’s pricing is alleged to remain steady at $199 with a 2-year contract, thus, giving it some reasonable room to compete against the competition. With a February 9th release date, it’s obviously going to make for a great Valentine’s Day gift for that special somebody in your life. Seeing that the date is only a week away from now, it’s probably a good idea to start scrounging up some money for the inevitable purchase.
Knowing that it's coming soon, would you consider picking it up over some other delicious smartphones on the horizon?
