Moto Z2 with Moto Mods surfaces on official Chinese Moto site; phone to be unveiled July 25th
Official Chinese Motorola website shows image of the unannounced Moto Z2 along with some of the Moto Mods available
An official Moto website in China has already posted an image of the Moto Z2 prior to the phone's expected unveiling on July25th. While the phone does have a strong resemblance to the already available Moto Z2 Play, the Moto Z2 sports a dual camera setup on back unlike the single rear snapper on the Z2 Play. Similar to the original Moto Z, the Moto Z2 will feature a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 (QHD).
Under the hood you will find Qualcomm's current top-of-the-line Snapdragon 835 chipset. That means that the unit is driven by an octa-core CPU and the Adreno 540 GPU. We could see two variants of the phone, one with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of native storage. The other version would come with 6GB of Random Access Memory and 128GB of internal storage. The dual cameras on back could weigh in at 12MP each with a 5MP selfie snapper featuring a 5MP sensor.
Surrounding the photo of the Moto Z2 discovered on the Chinese Moto website, we can see a number of modular Mot Mod accessories. They include the Hasselblad True Zoom Camera mod, Portable Photo Printer Mod, Turbo Power Battery Case Mod, 360 Camera Mod, JBL Speaker and the GamePad.
