Moto X Play: all the new features of the enduring midranger
Motorola took the stage and announced the expected Moto G 2015 and Moto X Style handsets, but the real hostage-taker is the Moto X Play - a midranger that nobody saw coming, or, rather, thought it as a version of the Moto X. Granted, there were rumors that Motorola will announce a phone with 3600 mAh battery, but it was assumed at the time that this will be the Moto X 2015.

Thankfully, the Moto x Play is a totally different handset that has the specs to match last year's flagships, yet will be sold for about $300. With a 5.5" 1080p display, 64-bit Snapdragon chipset, 20 MP camera, and a 3600 mAh battery, there's hardly anything more you'd desire from a midranger, so let's take a look at what's new in Motorola's newly-minted middle-of-the-road "Play" line. Which one piques your fancy most in the Moto X Play?
