All that glitters isn't Gold for Apple iPhone 11 Pro buyers
We are now more than a day into 2019 Apple iPhone pre-order period, and a curious pattern is developing. Either Apple produced more iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max models in Gold anticipating heavier demand, or the public is just not excited about owning an iPhone in that color anymore. If you're looking to pre-order an iPhone in the U.S., your best bet appears to be with the Gold models, many of which will ship in a week compared to 2 to 3 weeks for most of the other options.
As of this morning, here are the current shipping times from Apple's website. Those models shipping on the original September 20th launch date are listed in bold:
