The Samsung Galaxy S III has sold 20 million units
The
Samsung Galaxy S III has certainly proven itself worthy to the title as the Samsung's flagship model. The Korean based tech titan announced on Thursday that the device has sold
in excess of 20 million units in just 100 days. That is three times faster than the
Samsung Galaxy S II, which was no slouch itself, and 6 times faster than the
Samsung Galaxy S.
Samsung has broken down the sales by region with 6 million rung up in Europe, 4.5 million sold in Asia, 4 million in North America and 2.5 million in Korea. Samsung says that
200,000 units a day are being sold. And the amazing thing is that Samsung has some other hot selling devices right on the heels of the Galaxy S III. For example, the
Samsung GALAXY Notehas surpassed 10 million units in sales with the
slightly larger sequel already introduced and ready to be launched. Sounds like some company has the Midas Touch right now!
Thanks, Sean!
