More pictures of the Samsung GALAXY S Advance appear

Just made official the other day, the Samsung GALAXY S Advance is expected to get displayed at the MWC in Barcelona at the tail end of this month. While some nice press pictures have been released, a website in the Philippines was able to photograph the phone in hand. The GT-i9070 is said to feel great in the hand and offers solid construction, according to the site, TechPinas (we can hear you giggling from here).

We've already managed to get the specs out and we don't need to go down that road again since they are fresh in your mind. What we now have is the expected price of the Samsung GALAXY S Advance. According to TechPinas, the device will run 22,990 PHP (Philippine Pesos) which works out to approximately $536 USD. Not that you should expect to see this model in the States. Under the hood will be the 1GHz dual-core NovaThor chipset from ST-Ericsson which supports China Mobile's TD-SCDMA network.  NovaThor models also support HSPA+ and there will be a 14.4Mbps HSDPA radio on the phone which also points to its possible release in Europe.

As we said, the Samsung GALAXY S Advance is planning on making an appearance at MWC. And when it comes to MWC coverage, you know to keep your eyes right here for the most up-to-date information coming out of Barcelona. It's the next best thing to being there yourself.
