More delays for the white iPhone 4
Saying that the white version of the iPhone 4 has "continued to be more challenging to manufacture that we originally expected," Apple has announced that the handset will not be available until later this year. The black iPhone 4 was launched on June 24th and originally, the white model was expected to be released late in July. Earlier this month, we reported that the manufacturing process was still being held up for the white model and that there were some problems determining the thickness of the paint needed and some trouble getting the right level of white that Apple wants. For those waiting for the iPhone 4 in white, you should be satisfied with the knowledge that by the time you receive the phone, all of the connectivity problems that have haunted the black model will probably have been ironed out in the manufacturing process.
