The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus have one very unpleasant disadvantage when they come against the Android flagships, and it's their battery life. Their 2013-style endurance would make you reach for the charger at the end of every day, while last year Android phones made a huge leap in their average battery life, and you can get two days from some flagships even.
Fret not, though, as these pains can be easily remedied with a fine battery case, which on the thin iPhones would serve as both a battery life booster, and added protection. So far battery cases for the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus have been few and far between, with the best brand keeping hush on the matter, but with the dawn of the new year, Mophie just announced its renowned Juice Pack line will open up to accommodate Apple's newest phones.
Tailored for the iPhone 6 are the Mophie Juice Pack Air ($99.95) and the thicker Juice Pack Plus ($119.95), which offer 2750 mAh and 3300 mAh capacities, respectively, essentially doubling the iPhone 6 battery life, and then some. The iPhone 6 Plus will get one Juice Pack battery case variant only, at $99.95, which sports a 2600 mAh battery, giving you 60% more battery life. The new Juice Packs are all ready to be preordered at the Mophie website, so the actual shipping shouldn't be far behind.
