Monte S5620 is a stylish candybar by Samsung
LG is not the only manufacturer to announce a new phone today. Samsung also introduced its Monte S5620 – a stylish candybar, equipped with lots of features that may come in handy. As a touchscreen device, the Samsung Monte S5620 is running the TouchWiz interface. The interesting thing is the Monte is running the latest version of the UI, named TouchWiz 2.0 Plus, which comes with some graphical improvements. Again, Samsung is making a social-centric handset, preloading applications for access to Facebook and MySpace, as well as dedicated widgets for Twitter and Bebo. Software features do not end here, as users will also take advantage of Exchange ActiveSync and Google Sync support, making the Monte a nice handset for email access.
In terms of specs, the Samsung Monte is good enough for a feature phone with its 3-inch WQVGA screen, 3.2MP camera and GPS. Unfortunately, the exact release date and price have not been announced. For more detailed information, read our Samsung Monte S5620 Preview!
