- Fring for iPhone is now doing push notification. The Fring team have decided to incorporate this new feature into the new version of the app and now you can get pop-up messages (while outside the app) telling you that you’ve been contacted. Tapping on the message will get you straight to the relevant conversation. (source: IntoMobile)
- More than five million LG Cookie units have been sold worldwide. Cookie KP500 has been released about nine months ago which, as the manufacturer points out, makes it the fastest-selling full touchscreen LG phone yet. (source: LG)
- Nokia Surge is now available on AT&T’s site for $79.99 with a two-year service agreement and after $50 mail-in rebate. What you’ll get with this fancy-looking phone is a 2.4-inch QVGA resolution screen, slide-out QWERTY keyboard for fast messaging, 2-megapixel camera and 128 MB of built-in memory. (source: AT&T)
- Twee is a new Twitter client for the Palm Pre. In case you do not like the currently available ones, then you can check the Twee beta, said to be the most feature-packed Twitter client. As of now, the beta is available for free (not in the App Catalog), but it looks like the developer intends to put a price tag to it, when officially launched. (source: PalmwebOSBlog)
