According to the Verizon web site, the Motorola DEVOUR is expected to get an upgrade next week. No, it is not the Android 2.1 OS-Motorola is still on the fence when it comes to upgrading the model with that software. This upgrade is version CALAND_X_01.15.08P, which you can repeat to your friends to impress or sicken them. Anyway, this upgrade will fix some minor problems such as call performance which will be improved. Volume keys will now work when you are in the mobile IM app. The browser, contacts and VCAST music will offer more stable performance and Google apps will be updated. For a list on what the upgrade will improve, and instructions on installing it, check out the source link. The fun and festivities are expected to start as soon as Monday, so let us know afterward if your phone has received the upgrade and what changes you notice.
