Mid-range Galaxy C7 spotted on Geekbench with a Helio P20 chipset and 4GB of RAM

Although we know for a fact that Samsung is working on a particular Galaxy C7, we've hardly heard anything of substance pertaining to this one. True, we heard through the grapevine that the device might flaunt a dual camera at the rear, but that pretty much sums up our knowledge about it for the most part.

Thank God Geekbench leaks are a thing, as an alleged benchmark of the Galaxy C7 just popped up, giving us a sneak peek at its insides. It looks like Samsung will be relying on MediaTek's Helio P20 (MT6757) chipset. Additionally, the leaked benchmark results reveal 4GB of RAM on deck. Oh, and Android 7.1.1 is on board, which is... nice.

Scoring some 883 points on the single-core and 3959 points on the multi-core test, the Galaxy C7 shapes up to be an intriguing mid-ranger. We guess it might be coming soon; come to think of it, IFA 2017 is just around the corner, and there's nothing stopping Samsung from releasing this one at the trade show.

We'll live, we'll see.
