Microsoft's Steve Ballmer will be the main man at the 2011 CES
Microsoft's people have been keynote speakers at the CES events in Las Vegas a few times already for major product launches such as the Xbox, or Windows Vista. Since Steve Ballmer was announced as the lead guy for the 2011 edition in January, we can not help but hope that his keynote address will be dedicated chiefly to the one major product that will be shipping out from the company in the next few months - Windows Phone 7.
By 6:30pm on January 5th, when the speech is scheduled for, Ballmer could have a few shiny WP7 devices to show to the world, along with numerous apps to back the mobile operating system. We never thought Microsoft should be underestimated, given the pool of cash and engineering resources they can bring to any project, so it will be interesting to see if Windows Phone 7 will be a success story by the time of the keynote.
