Microsoft previously had paid up to $200 for an unwanted Apple iPhone, Apple iPad, or Android device. But in an effort to get more people to try its Windows Phone or Windows powered tablets, the Redmond based software giant has raised the bounty to $350. To see just how much you might be able to get from that old Apple iPhone 3G in your drawer ($10 in working condition with no damage), or for your Wife's Motorola DROID RAZR M ($70), head over to the sourcelink and get a quote.
If you are satisfied with the amount of money Microsoft is willing to pay you, go ahead and buy the Windows Phone or tablet, mail in your trade to Clover Wireless within 30 days with proof of purchase, and you will receive an appropriately valued Visa prepaid card in the mail.
Don't expect any miracles here. Microsoft is paying top dollar to the latest devices with the most native storage. A 64GB Apple iPhone 5 brings $265 while a 64GB Samsung Galaxy S4 fetches $275. An HTC Rhyme gets nothing in trade.
For those who really, really, really have their heart set on a new Windows Phone model and have an iPhone or more recent Android device that you don't mind trading in, why not get some money back for a handset that would otherwise just be collecting dust?
Get as much as $350 for your old iOS or Android device from Microsoft for a trade-in
