Microsoft to offer Gold Lumia 930; limited edition available in China beginning January 19th
A limited edition version of the Nokia Lumia 930 has been produced by Microsoft for the Chinese market. The device is special because of the use of Gold on the handset. The frame is in Gold as is the Nokia name on the back of the device. The battery cover is black, which makes for a nice looking contrast between the Gold frame and the rear of the handset.
Microsoft is calling it the Lumia 930 Golden Collector’s Edition, and it will retail for the equivalent of $466.62. Only 3000 units will be produced, and taking that into consideration, the price is not bad at all.
Besides the phone, Microsoft is tossing in a DC-20 Car Charger and the Nokia DT900 wireless charging pad, so a good deal gets even better! You can pick up the Lumia 930 Golden Collector’s Edition online, or from retail stores in China starting on January 19th. You might recall that earlier this month, we told you about a Gold version of the Nokia Lumia 830. That model is supposed to be available starting today, in China.
