Microsoft cuts Surface RT price today, you can get it for $349

Microsoft has now officially cut the price of its Surface RT tablet down to $349 for the basic version and it’s a great deal on a product that has gotten mixed review partly because of its high price. You can get the discounted device on the Microsoft Store in different countries. The Surface RT originally sold for $150 more, or $499 for the 32GB basic model without a keyboard.
The Surface RT tablet comes with gorgeous magnesium alloy body that is also sturdy. This is the version of the tablet that runs on Windows RT, the limited version of Microsoft’s Windows platform. Windows RT does not support legacy Windows apps (except for the Office suite baked into the Surface RT).
The price for the Surface RT has been cut for Europe as well. There you can buy the 32GB basic version for the following prices:
Microsoft has not said exactly why it is suddenly dropping the price of the Surface RT. Obviously, sales of the tablet have not been going well, but it remains unknown whether Redmond have had other motives for the price cut.
