Microsoft outs Spend for iOS app to make it easier to track expanses
Microsoft continues to take good care of iOS users with the launch of a brand new app – Spend, which allows them to keep track of their expenses easier than ever. The new application is available in the United States only, and it's been released as a Microsoft Garage project.
Spend is supposed to automatically tack expenses from a connected credit card, debit card or bank account. If you're using an iPhone, you'll see that all your purchases show up in a feed in Spend so that you can classify them as business or personal.
All reports from Spend are fully customizable and come in either a spreadsheet or PDF, which basically makes them compatible with any other platforms. According to developers, Spend is using intelligent features to track receipts, which helps add expenses you make if you purchase with cash.
Last but not least, Spend uses 256-bit SSL encryption with Microsoft certifications to make the app secure. On that note, the app doesn't retain bank login information or full card numbers. Spend is now available for download for free via App Store.
