Micromax Yu5050 leaks with SD-810 chipset, 4GB RAM priced at $315 USD
Several listings on India's Zauba import-export site reveal information on the Micromax Yu5050. This is a handset that carries a 5.2-inch, 1080 x 1920 resolution screen. The Snapdragon 810 SoC is under the hood, featuring a severely underclocked 1.5GHz CPU (octa-core, of course) and the Adreno 430 GPU. 4GB of RAM is inside. This will be the first Micromax handset to employ the Snapdragon 810 and the manufacturer doesn't appear in the mood to take any chances with the chip. Cyanogen 12.1 is pre-installed. The unit comes with fast charging, and supports 4G LTE connectivity.
The rumored price of the Yu5050 works out to the equivalent of $315 USD, and the phone is expected to be officially unveiled on Tuesday. It will be a Snapdeal exclusive. At the same time as the Yu5050 greets the light of day, Micromax will unveil its Yu4711 budget model. This device is powered by the Snapdragon 410 SoC. It will feature a quad-core 1.21GHz CPU and the Adreno 306 GPU. 1GB of RAM is inside.
