Metrotube update fixes problem with pinned playlists
One disadvantage to owning a Windows Phone is the lack of an official YouTube client. Google is said to be working on a YouTube app for Windows 10 Mobile. Until that becomes a reality, Windows Phone users can rely on third party apps to get their YouTube fix. One such app is Metrotube, which has been around since 2011 when LazyTube had a major face-lift.
Metrotube has just pushed out an update to its app, to version 4.6.9. The update fixes problems that users were having in trying to pin a playlist. Other problems that have recently been fixed include one that prevented users from subscribing to certain channels.
Metrotube is available from the Windows Store, and will cost you 99 cents. Meanwhile, Google is said to be working on offering more than just YouTube to those rockin' Windows 10 Mobile. Other apps that could be made available to the platform include Hangouts, Google Voice and Google Play Music.
