Meizu to enter India with the m1 note tapped to be offered first
Meizu has captured the attention of both the smartphone fanatic and the casual industry follower. Both have been impressed by handsets like the Meizu MX4 Pro with its 5.5-inch screen, 1536 x 2560 resolution, octa-core Exynos 5430 CPU, 20.7MP rear camera and 3350mAh battery. The slightly smaller-screened Meizu MX4, powered with an octa-core CPU from MediaTek, was the highest scoring handset on AnTuTu's benchmark site last year.
It would appear Meizu is getting ready to bust out beyond the borders of China. It plans to sell its octa-core powered Meizu m1 note on its MeizuMart global website, where the device is listed as "Coming Soon". But more interesting is a teaser that Meizu posted on social media heralding its move into India. "Hello Indian Fans" is written on the bottom of the photo. A tweet accompanying the teaser reads "Greetings to all the #Meizu fans in India. We are coming!"
While Meizu teased the move into India, one thing that it didn't mention was a date for the launch of the mi note. Pricing is also unknown at this time.

Like Xiaomi did before it, Meizu most likely will sell its handsets via a major Indian online retailer like Flipkart or Snapdeal. The Meizu m1 note will be the first phone offered by Meizu in India. The handset features a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920. This works out to a pixel density of 401ppi. A 64-bit octa-core 1.7 GHz MediaTek MT6752 CPU is under the hood with the Mali-T760 MP2 GPU handling graphics. 2GB of RAM is inside with 32GB of native storage. There is no microSD slot on the phone. The camera on back weighs in at 13MP with a 5MP snapper in front for selfies and video chats. A 3140mAh battery powers the unit.
