Just the other day, we told you that the Meizu X could be unveiled on November 30th. The manufacturer has already sent out invitations to the event. The Meizu X is apparently a high-end model and the latest rumors call for the phone to be driven by the MediaTek Helio X30, which includes a deca-core CPU. On Monday, Meizu sent out another invitation, this one for December 6th. That event will cover the unveiling of the Meizu M5 Note.
The Meizu M5 Note was recently certified in China by TENAA. The handset features a 5.5-inch screen with a 1080 x 1920 resolution. Under the hood is the MediaTek Helio P10 chipset (MT6755 SoC), carrying an octa-core CPU and the Mali-T860 GPU. 3GB of RAM is inside along with Android 6.0.1 pre-installed.
Originally, it was thought that the M5 Note would be made official at the same event as the one that unveils the Meizu X, but apparently that is not the case. The invitation mentions that 20 million Meizu handsets from the Note series have been sold to date. The invites also come with an old Meizu M3 Note, which was the last unit in the series to be produced.
