Meizu MX5 renders show another "bezel-less" screen
Last year, the Meizu MX4 topped the list of high scoring Android handsets that were run through the AnTuTu benchmark test. The average score of 47,765 for the device topped the Nexus 6's average score of 47,079. With the Meizu MX5 expected to launch some time this year, can Meizu's upcoming flagship live up to the achievement of its predecessor?
The Meizu MX5 is expected to feature a metal build with rounded corners. While we haven't seen new renders of the back of the unit, that is where the fingerprint scanner is said to be found. The phone will be driven by the 64-bit true octa-core MediaTek MT6795 CPU. The rear camera is believed to employ an infrared focusing technology.
There is still a lot of information that hasn't been leaked yet, and things like pricing and availability might have to wait for the official unveiling of the phone. Unfortunately, Meizu has not said when that will take place.
