Meet the LG G Pad X and Microsoft Lumia 735 (both for Verizon)
Yesterday, we told you that Verizon could soon launch an unannounced LG tablet, namely the G Pad X 8.3. Now, thanks to Evan Blass / @evleaks, we can actually see the new slate.
The G Pad X 8.3 is the successor to LG's G Pad 8.3 (which will soon be 2 years old), and, by the looks of it, it's not that different from the old tablet. The new device obviously runs Android Lollipop, and probably has an 8.3-inch, 1200 x 1920 pixels screen - just like its predecessor. The G Pad X might be officially announced on May 28, if the date seen on its screen is of any indication. However, for now we can't be sure of anything.
Besides revealing the LG G Pad X, Evan Blass also posted two renders that show the Microsoft Lumia 735, another device that's headed to Verizon. Already available in Europe as the Nokia Lumia 735, the Verizon-bound handset has been rebranded, thus no longer bearing Nokia's logo. Approved by the FCC earlier this month, the Microsoft Lumia 735 will likely run Windows Phone 8.1 at launch, though an update to Windows 10 is certainly going to be available later this year. To find out more about the smartphone, you can check out our Lumia 730 review (the 730 is similar to the 735, but it lacks LTE).
Do you plan to get the LG G Pad X, or the Microsoft Lumia 735 from Verizon?
