Madden 12 brings real NFL teams and players to your Android phone
Want to coach an NFL team and take them to the Super Bowl? Thanks to EA, you can not only control 2,500 NFL players from 32 teams, you can do all this from your Android smartphone. Madden 12 is now available in the Android Market for $6.99 (about the cost of a beer at an NFL game) and you can play an exhibition season, replay last year's playoffs (is Marc Sanchez really that good?) or play an entire 16 game schedule.
Madden 12 brings the bone-crunching realism of the console game to your phone running Android 2.1 or higher. The game is not available for Honeycomb powered tablets, however. The graphics have been optimized for Android handsets and animations provide realistic action. You can also make trades, design your own plays or use plays already drawn up with the in-depth playbook (no, not the RIM tablet).
For Android owners, the only drawback to downloading the game is that you will probably need a spare battery with all the time that you will be spending on your handset playing Madden 12.

The game allows you to slow down the clock and make the play on both sides of the ball using Total Defensive Control (TDC) and Action Control Time (ACT). Pause the game and put your players in the right position to make the big hit or the big catch using TDC. ACT allows you to let your offensive playmaker dive, spin and juke his way past the defense.
