Logic Bolt v1.5 packs on projector into its small frame
We’ve recently checked out the LG eXpo for AT&T and really impressed to see a handset being offered right now that allows for a pico projector attachment. Regrettably we can’t say the same about its bloated looks once the accessory is snapped on to the back of the phone. Logic Wireless has been is cooking up something special in time for CES – they’ve been perfecting their Logic Bolt handset since it debuted over a year ago. The Logic Bolt v1.5 is a Symbian S60 handset that will beam images in VGA 640 x 480 resolution with a maximum viewable projection of 64 inches. Battery life will always be a concern for any handset offering this concept and the Bolt Logic v1.5 will get roughly 2 hours if you’re just projecting. Other than that, it’s estimated to get out 3 hours of talk and 200 to 250 hours of standby time. Some other features include a 2.6” QVGA display, TV tuner, 3-megapixel camera, 1-megapixel front facing camera, and a microSD card slot. All of this, including the projector, is packed into its pocketable form factor. We’ll have to wait to see it for ourselves to see if all works out accordingly.
