List reveals which new iPhone models are the most popular at BestBuy.com

Now that pre-orders for the Apple iPhone 6s and Apple iPhone 6s Plus have been underway for over a week, we can get an idea about which versions of the two new iPhones are the most popular at Best Buy.com. For this, we once again turn to JeeQ Data. The company calculates that from September 16th through the 20th, the Verizon branded 64GB Apple iPhone 6s in Rose Gold was the most popular iPhone model pre-ordered from the retailer. The AT&T version of the same phone finished third.

In second place was the Verizon 64GB Apple iPhone 6s in Space Gray. Rounding out the top five was the Verizon branded 128GB iPhone 6s in Rose Gold, and the same phone with 16GB of storage. Only two versions of the Apple iPhone 6s Plus cracked the top ten, and both were AT&T branded units. One was the 128GB model in Space Gray (6th place) and the other was the 128GB model in Gold (8th place).

The favorite color for iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus pre-orders at BestBuy.com was actually a tie between Rose Gold and Space Gray. Both received 40% of the orders. The 64GB models captured half of the pre-orders, with 40% going to the 128GB capacity units. And Verizon branded models were responsible for 60% of the pre-orders at Best Buy.com, compared to 40% for AT&T.
