App updates can be pretty sweet times, especially when the update includes solid new features that can make using the app markedly better. That's what we've just gotten with an update to the LinkedIn apps for Android and iOS. LinkedIn has always been a solid app for networking, but the new update brings job searching and more.
Search really is the big story of this app update. Now, in addition to searching for people, the LinkedIn app will allow you to search for jobs, companies, and groups. LinkedIn wants to be your hub for business, and this update highlights the fact that the service offers more than 225 million professionals, 3 million company pages, 2 million groups, and thousands of job opportunities.
