LineageOS 14.1 now available for OnePlus 3T and five other Android devices
From the ashes of CyanogenMod, LineageOS was born. Today, six devices have joined the list of Android powered phones and tablets that have a LineageOS custom ROM available. The build number is 14.1 which is based on Android Nougat 7.1. We should point out that LineageOS has continued the build numbers from where CyanogenMod left off, which was 14.0 or Android 7.0.
Among the six devices receiving LineageOS support, the OnePlus 3T and the OnePlus 3 have merged their files and count as one new device. The other models include the ZTE Axon 7, LG G3, HTC One M7 (Verizon), HTC One M7 (GSM), Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 (2016) and the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 (2016). A whole list of all Android devices with a custom LineageOS ROM can be found by tapping on the sourcelink.
So far, there have been 442,000 active downloads led by the ROM for the OnePlus One with 35,000 downloads. That might not be a surprise considering that the handset launched with CyanogenMod pre-installed. Next on the list is the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3. The ROM for that phone has been downloaded approximately 18,000 times.
