Lenovo Vibe X3 specs leak on GFXBench, reveal a pretty well-rounded package
Earlier this year, we heard that Lenovo is working on a follow-up to last year's Vibe X2, which featured an intriguing multi-layered design. Said phone was unveiled in September 2014, at IFA, and as the 2015 installment of the trade show nears, it's pretty natural that information and leaks regarding a successor to the device will eventually pop up.
Here are the latest ones: it looks like the specs of the Lenovo Vibe X3 have been freshly unearthed on GFXBench, a graphics benchmark database, and it looks like a pretty well-rounded package. Here are its specs at a glance:
- 5-inch, 1080p display
- Hexa-core Snapdragon 808 humming at 1.8GHz
- 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM
- 32GB of storage, microSD card slot
- 20MP rear camera with dual-LED flash/ 7MP front-facing one
- Fingerprint scanner at the back
- LTE, single nano SIM card slot
- Android 5.1.1 with Lenovo Vibe UI running atop
Back in February, some renders and additional pieces of info regarding the Vibe X3 popped up, suggesting that it might come with dual front-facing speakers and a Hi-Fi 3.0 software for improved audio experience, but the recent leaks have shed no light on the matter. Still, we wouldn't completely write off these rumored features.
As we said, the Vibe X3 is probably slated for an early September reveal, most probably at IFA 2015.
