Lenovo Moto M to launch with certain Microsoft apps pre-installed?
Last month, Microsoft and Lenovo shook hands on a cross-licensing pact that allows Lenovo to pre-install certain Microsoft productivity apps on some Android devices manufactured by the company. According to a report published today, one of those devices is going to be the Lenovo Moto M. This is the model that carries the code name "Kung Fu."
While one version of the phone (XT1662) is expected to be launched in China only, a so-called international model will be offered in other parts of Asia. The latter will launch with stock Android (Marshmallow), Microsoft Office, Skype and OneDrive pre-loaded. Today's report didn't note whether the XT1662 would also come out of the box with these apps already installed.
Live photos of the XT1662 variant of the Lenovo Moto M reveal that the 5.5-inch screen will have a resolution of 1080 x 1920, and that the phone will carry 4GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage. You can also see that the device will be equipped with a 16MP rear facing camera and an 8MP front-facing snapper.
