Leaked video shows Samsung Z2 Tizen smartphone in action
Seems like Samsung will continue to churn out Tizen smartphones, despite the much bigger popularity of its Android handsets. According to a recent report by Korean online tech portal ETNews, the rumored Samsung Z2 (a name yet to be confirmed) will be released in the second half of this year. What's more, this new Tizen phone may launch in a greater number of markets compared to its predecessors. India, Indonesia, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, South Africa, Kenya and Nigeria are all said to be on the list.
If preliminary reports are anything to go by, the Samsung Z2 – model number SM-Z200F – is going to have a 4-inch AMOLED display and at least 1GB of RAM. The rumored handset could also be the first Tizen-based phone to support 4G networks.
While Samsung has yet to make the phone official, you can see the Samsung Z2 in action in a leaked video which surfaced yesterday on YouTube. The low quality footage shows how a Unity engine game is launched on the Z2 and its two siblings – the Z1 and the Z3. From left to right the phones in the video are: the Samsung Z2, Z3 and Z1.
