Leaked screenshot indicates an August 4 launch date for the Motorola DROID BIONIC
Can you believe that it has been nearly 7 months since we feasted our eyes on the Motorola DROID BIONIC back at CES? Since then, the 4G LTE equipped Android powered smartphone has gone through its share of bumps on the road, but we might finally be nearing a release date.
Already, we’ve seen a Motorola device pop up over at the FCC that closely resembles the DROID BIONIC with its EV-DO and LTE 700MHz radio. However, a new leaked screenshot indicates that the highly anticipated handset is going to be making a splash on August 4, which so happens to fall in line with its reported Q3 launch time frame. Naturally, we’ve heard about its redesigns both on the software and hardware side – so it’s going to be interesting to see how the final product pans out.
Of course, without a definitive confirmation from either Motorola or Verizon, this alleged launch date can always change – but at least we can hope and cross our fingers for now.
