The
ZTE Grand X Quad (V987) was displayed Friday in a leaked photo tweeted by master leaker
evleaks. If you were evaluating this phone like NFL analysts do, you'd say that this handset is number two on the Chinese manufacturer's depth charts. Number one would be the
ZTE Grand S, which has a 5 inch FHD screen while the ZTE Grand X Quad has a 5 inch 720p "gapless" display. And while the Grand S is powered with a quad-core 1.7GHz processor, the Grand X Quad will have a quad-core processor clocked at a slower 1.2GHz.
The ZTE Grand X Quad will offer dual-SIM support (GSM, WCDMA), an 8MP camera and a 2500mAh battery that is removable. While no pricing or availability information was revealed, we wouldn't expect to see this come to the states, although
the top-shelf ZTE Grand S is supposedly going to appear on a the roster of a U.S. carrier.
