According to a leaked internal memo, a couple of new devices are coming to T-Mobile and are scheduled to launch on June 17th. The two devices are comprised of one handset and one tablet. Let's start with the phone. The Microsoft Lumia 640 will be in stock at a select number of T-Mobile locations on the 17th. At other locations, customers buying the device will have to place an order for the handset at the store and have the unit shipped directly to their home.
The Microsoft Lumia 640 features a 5-inch LCD display with a 720 x 1280 resolution. This works out to a pixel density of 294ppi. Powering the model is the Snapdragon 400 SoC, containing a quad-core 1.2GHz CPU and the Adreno 305 GPU. 1GB of RAM is inside along with 8GB of internal storage. For those who need additional memory, a 128GB microSD slot can be accessed. An 8MP camera adorns the back of the unit while a .9MP snapper can be found on front. A 2500mAh battery makes sure the engines are humming. The phone supports 4G LTE connectivity.
Pricing for both devices wasn't mentioned in the memo. If the June 17th date is accurate, the carrier will soon send out a release officially announcing the launch of the phone and the tablet. At that time, we should get more information including the pricing of the Lumia 640 and the LG G Pad F 8.0.
