Over the weekend, we were able to shed some light on the BlackBerry Bold 9900’s release with T-Mobile, but it now seems that we’re continuing to see some further proof about its August 31st anticipated release date.
This time around, yet another leaked document blatantly mentions August 31st as being the launch date for all channels – with August 17th being the one for their business-to-business and enterprise channels. Moreover, we’re finally getting some understanding in regards to its pricing! If this holds true, the next-generation Berry device is going to be sporting a whopping $299.99 on-contract price point after a $50 mail-in-rebate.
Of course, that’s a lot to swallow for some people – even more when it’s not too often we see high-end smartphones breaking the golden price point of $200. Taking into account that it’s sporting a touchscreen, that iconic BlackBerry form factor, and it’s T-Mobile’s very first HSPA+ enabled BlackBerry, does it still warrant such a hefty price tag?
